EDUCATION AND OUTREACH

The Coalition utilizes various community activities to spread knowledge about the importance of early detection of women’s cancers.

Islip Breast Cancer Coalition is involved in numerous health fairs, community street fairs and supporting events to distribute information.

Educational programs are presented through community organizations such as schools, PTA, Rotary club and sporting events. Whenever there is a conference, community meeting or governmental hearings, we have members attend, participate and/or facilitate.
