The Islip Breast Cancer Coalition is an independent, grassroots, not for profit organization of volunteers whose goal is to serve as a community resource for the residents of the Township of Islip confronted with breast cancer and other women’s cancers.

It is our mission to provide direct services and support to breast cancer patients, as well as patients with other women’s cancers, to present educational programs and outreaches within the community, and to encourage scientific and environmental research.

IBCC offers various services through our “Lend a Helping Hand” “Carry On” and “Can Survive” Programs. The services are facilitated and paid for by our organization.

IBCC aims to educate our communities about possible risks and concerns for breast cancer and other women’s cancers. We conduct educational seminars, as well as, provide educational materials at community fairs.

IBCC supports research, in breast cancer and other women’s cancers, and Legislation to increase funding for research.
